A report from a space observer:
documentation of the event of joint contact and analysis of the side effects of transfer between minds

When agreement ceases to be the goal... and begins to change the way we see the world

Write Start [Object P]

I didn't tell him everything.

People tend to consider the moment of understanding to be the end of the process. As if "I know" means "that's it." Meanwhile, real change doesn't start until later—in what happens between words, in how you begin to see things that weren't there before.

Change in perception

After what happened between us, when we touched this object at the same time, Professor P. ceased to be merely an object of observation for me. Something had shifted. Not in him — in the way he perceived reality.

He walked calmly next to me, but his movements became more conscious. It was as if every step was chosen, not performed automatically. He was less often distracted by random stimuli. His attention no longer "escaped" into space — it was focused, present. This is a subtle change, but very characteristic.

Nature of the device

The metal box was not neutral. People assume that tools are passive, that they are used for something, and that's where their role ends. That's a mistake. Some tools change those who use them. And they don't always do it in a way that can be immediately named.

Spontaneous experiment

I stopped.

"Can you feel it?" I asked.

He looked at me carefully, trying to grasp the meaning of the question before the answer was given.

"What exactly?"

I was silent for a moment, watching him.

"Try to say something before you decide what you want to say.

He frowned slightly. In his world, it was illogical.

"That doesn't make sense," he replied.

"Try it."

He hesitated. And it was in this hesitation that something important happened—he let go of control.

"Someone has been following us for three minutes," he said.

He fell silent immediately after these words. He looked at me as if he did not understand himself.

"I... I don't know how I know that.

I smiled slightly.

"You know.

Presence

We turned around at the same time.

At the end of the street stood a figure. Motionless, too still to be a coincidence. Too far away to recognize the details, but close enough to feel the presence.

The professor no longer analyzed the situation as before. He did not build hypotheses. He simply knew.

"This is not a casual observer," he said quietly.

"No.

New variable

He was silent for a moment.

"Do you think it's someone from my Institute?"

"No.

It was a new category of answer for him. No elaboration. No explanation. And yet he accepted it.

"So who?"

I looked at him and this time I took the liberty of saying more.

"Someone who has the same device as us.

Experiment extension

He didn't step back. He didn't try to distance himself. That was important.

"So we're not the only couple," he said calmly.

I nodded.

That was the moment when the experiment stopped being linear. It was no longer about one researcher and one object. It was about many connections. Many trials. Many relationships that are checked in parallel.

Disappearance

We moved on. When we turned around again after a few steps, the figure was gone. She disappeared too quickly, too quietly, as if she had never been there.

The professor looked at me.

"Do you think they see us that way, too?"

"Yes.

Conclusion

"So... we are not just participants in the experiment.

He hesitated, but this time I didn't have to finish for him.

"We are part of it," he said.

I nodded.

Final note

I haven't told him the most important thing yet.

That the moment we touched this device, something was saved. Not data. Not images.

Report.

And this means that the next move may no longer belong exclusively to us.
